Techland spent more time explaining the game's main character, Aiden Caldwell. The virus has successfully spread and zombies have spread across the world. The game is set within the last remaining human refuge, Villedor, a city under attack from both warring human factions and the undead. The sequel takes place 15 years after the original Dying Light. When the sun sets, the world's most vicious zombies swarm, attacking every living thing not inside. Once again, Dying Light 2 focuses on the dynamic between night and day.
